  • A super cute cafe with iPad ordering! Love the atmosphere and lounge area, you can have your breakfast and coffee on a cushy couch or seated at a classy table. We go matcha lattes which were very strong with matcha and an everything bagel with cream cheese. Grabbed some candies since it was around Halloween time. They have magazines to look at as well! Definitely would recommend

  • I was looking for a good place to do work the other day and this place popped up. It is such a friendly and welcoming space. I spent about two hours there and I loved to here the worker (maybe an owner?) greeting customers and regulars and chatting with them about their lives and neighborhood happenings. I tried a cappuccino and a BALT sandwich. Both were delicious and filling! I'll definitely be coming here in the future if I need to do some studying.

  • Tucked away on a quiet corner, this coffee shop is the kind of place you stumble into and immediately want to stay awhile. The espresso is smooth and rich, with just the right balance of boldness and warmth. The atmosphere strikes a perfect mix of cozy and modern—soft lighting, comfortable seating, and the gentle hum of conversation in the background. The staff are genuinely friendly, making you feel more like a guest than a customer. Whether you’re there to work, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy a quiet moment with a latte, it’s the kind of spot that makes you wish every neighborhood had one.

  • My favourite cafe in SLC. Great to work on your laptop. Amazing food and coffee. Friendly staff members. Very strategic location! Plenty of milk options. Breakfast and lunch menu. I enjoy the outside area during summer and indoors for winter- very cozy

  • Absolutely amazing ambience. Very friendly staff. Warm and inviting. I haven't been in here for a good five or six years.. they've really done well with the excellent decor, vibe, soft, inviting music, quick and friendly service. Definitely going to start coming here more often. Stellar work guys.

  • We came to Salt Lake City for a golf tournament. There are a lot of great things about SLC but Cafe on 1st has to be the best hidden gem in town. I’ll be honest we are friends with the owners but that doesn’t change the fact that this place pays attention to detail. The amount of egg on the sandwiches is generous to say the least. The burrito is giant and the breakfast bowl is so good. The location is great. Tree lined streets and very peaceful. Plenty of parking on the street as well as the lot behind the building. Atmosphere is great in the shop with more than enough seating for everyone.
